Spice Up Your Kitchen and Dining Game With These Specialty Staples

I tend to spend a lot of time in the kitchen these days. I love preparing new recipes, trying new products, and supporting new brands. In the spirit of sharing, I’ve compiled a list of some brands and companies that have become specialty staples in my kitchen for when I want to spice things up a bit.

Brightland

Brightland olive oils are the sh*t. While they are a bit of an investment, these olive oils are custom-blended and made with no artificial preservatives, so you can be sure that what you get is 100% authentic. Trust me, these olive oils taste amazing, and they can make a huge difference in your cooking.

Acid League

Two words: living vinegars. Not only do these vinegars taste yummy, but they’re good for you and your gut health — a win-win if you ask me. Use them in salad dressings, vinaigrettes, hot sauces, condiments...the options are truly endless. Plus, if you’re looking for a new cocktail, their living tonics make great shrubs.

The Spice House

Looking to *spice* up your cooking? Lol. Search no more! The Spice House has everything from spices to herbs to rubs to blends, and the best part is you can order in bulk. It’s become my one-stop-shop for all things spicy. 😉

Girl & Dug Farm

From farm to home! Girl & Dug boxes are filled with fresh, wild produce from all over the world. They have themed boxes, subscription boxes, or you can build your own! Their produce can be incorporated into vegetable dishes, upscale crudités, salads, side dishes, you name it. Not to mention, their boxes ship overnight!

Loria Stern

Botanicals, but make them edible! Loria Stern, the creator of the botanical pressed cookie, runs a bakery and catering company specializing in turning flowers and plants into beautiful cookies, cakes, brownies, breads, buns, and pies. She ships nationwide, so be sure to put in an order for your next big get-together.

Social Studies

Having a dinner party but don’t want to break the bank on new place settings? Social Studies will save your a$$. Think Rent the Runway but tablescapes. All you have to do is pick your look, provide your date and headcount, and then your items are delivered directly to your door a couple of days before your event. After it’s over, you pack up, and Social Studies picks up. They then wash it all and reuse the materials for someone else’s shindig. It’s that simple!
