Testing...Testing: The Danessa Myricks Beauty Twin Flames, the Glossier Monochromes, and the Saie Slip Tint
As a content creator who works heavily in the beauty space, I’m always trying out new makeup and skincare products. But, what kind of influencer would I be if I just kept my opinions to myself? 😉 Here are a few things I’ve tested as of late:
Danessa Myricks Beauty Twin Flames
Danessa never lets me down, and this new line of highly saturated glitter pigments is no different. When I opened up the two shades I received, I thought that there was a mistake because in the package they looked, well…identical. But, with one VERY satisfying swipe, I knew I was forever changed. Not only do they provide maximum glittery perfection, they don’t crease, and they dry down with the same holographic magic that appears when they’re first applied.

I have mixed feelings about Glossier. Their products are some of my most loved and most loathed (don’t get me started on how fast their old lipsticks dried up into prune-like knobs), but I was pleasantly surprised by these monochrome babies. The glitter shade and the middle metallic shade were the standouts of the trio as I found the matte shade to be a bit dusty and patchy. Overall, these would be great compacts to travel with or gift.

So, these aren’t NEW NEW, but Saie just released their half colors (like my 3.5), and I thought this would be a good time to share about my experience with this product. I love love love this slip tint, but if you are looking for coverage, you need to hightail it on over to NARS or something, baby. This is a step up from a bare face, so I like combining mine with some extra concealer for days when I want a dewy look but still want some coverage, however, I wear it on its own for those true “no makeup” makeup days.
